Folded DL greeting-card printing

The folded DL format measures 99 × 210 mm when closed and 198 × 210 mm when open. Its tall, narrow proportions create an elegant presentation for holiday greetings, invitations, corporate messages and promotional mailings.

The outside can carry a strong vertical design while the inside provides generous space for text, signatures and brand information. Paper and finishing can be selected for personal or premium corporate use.

Preparing the DL artwork

Set up separate outside and inside spreads, keeping important elements away from the fold and trim edges. Add bleed and verify which panel becomes the front cover. We will check the finished and open dimensions before production.

Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum: 400 MB. For print, use 300 DPI as a guideline. If colour accuracy is critical, order a colour proof.

Artwork submission rules
  • The file dimensions must match the artwork size including bleed. Follow the dimensions shown in the recommendations above.
  • Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum file size: 400 MB.
  • Use 300 DPI for print, 200 DPI for large-format work and 150 DPI for very large products.
  • Use RGB if unsure. Use CMYK only if you understand prepress requirements. Remove embedded ICC profiles.
  • Embed all fonts in PDF files. Save JPEG without compression and TIFF with merged layers using ZIP/LZW.
  • For foil, varnish, contour cutting and other special processes, use vector spot objects with overprint.

      General guidelines+
      • Use the CMYK colour model only when the artwork was prepared with the correct print profile; otherwise submit the file in RGB.
      • Embed all fonts in PDF files or convert text to outlines.
      • Keep important text and logos inside the indicated safe area.
      • Do not place thin frames close to the trim line.
      • The maximum upload size is 400 MB.

      • Check the finished size, bleed and safe area before uploading the artwork.
      • Use high-resolution images and make sure linked graphics are included.
