Classic greeting-card printing

A 148 × 105 mm single greeting card is a practical format for congratulations, thank-you messages, holidays, anniversaries and branded communication. It can accompany a gift, be placed inside packaging or serve as a concise standalone message.

The card can be printed on coated, uncoated or designer stock with an individual illustration, company identity or seasonal artwork. One- or two-sided printing allows the reverse to carry a message, contacts or a QR code.

Preparing the design

Keep text comfortably readable at the final size and leave space for handwriting when required. Add bleed to backgrounds and keep key elements away from trim edges. We will check the artwork before printing.

Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum: 400 MB. For print, use 300 DPI as a guideline. If colour accuracy is critical, order a colour proof.

Artwork submission rules
  • The file dimensions must match the artwork size including bleed. Follow the dimensions shown in the recommendations above.
  • Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum file size: 400 MB.
  • Use 300 DPI for print, 200 DPI for large-format work and 150 DPI for very large products.
  • Use RGB if unsure. Use CMYK only if you understand prepress requirements. Remove embedded ICC profiles.
  • Embed all fonts in PDF files. Save JPEG without compression and TIFF with merged layers using ZIP/LZW.
  • For foil, varnish, contour cutting and other special processes, use vector spot objects with overprint.

      • Use the CMYK colour model only when the artwork was prepared with the correct print profile; otherwise submit the file in RGB.
      • Embed all fonts in PDF files or convert text to outlines.
      • Keep important text and logos inside the indicated safe area.
      • Do not place thin frames close to the trim line.
      • The maximum upload size is 400 MB.

      • Use high-resolution images and make sure linked graphics are included.
