An A1 poster measures 594 × 841 mm and is designed for messages that need to remain visible from a substantial distance. It is suitable for event advertising, shop windows, exhibitions, presentations, public announcements and interior display.

The large area supports strong photography, bold typography and clear calls to action. Paper and production options should match the mounting method and planned environment.

Large-format artwork

Check every image at the final A1 dimensions and use type sizes appropriate for the viewing distance. Keep the message concise, add bleed for backgrounds and place logos, dates and contact details safely away from trim edges. We will check dimensions and technical quality before printing.

Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum: 400 MB. For print, use 300 DPI as a guideline. If colour accuracy is critical, order a colour proof.

Artwork submission rules
  • The file dimensions must match the artwork size including bleed. Follow the dimensions shown in the recommendations above.
  • Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum file size: 400 MB.
  • Use 300 DPI for print, 200 DPI for large-format work and 150 DPI for very large products.
  • Use RGB if unsure. Use CMYK only if you understand prepress requirements. Remove embedded ICC profiles.
  • Embed all fonts in PDF files. Save JPEG without compression and TIFF with merged layers using ZIP/LZW.
  • For foil, varnish, contour cutting and other special processes, use vector spot objects with overprint.

      • Do not place thin frames close to the trim line.
      • The maximum upload size is 400 MB.
