Product description

A4 menu folded to A5

An A4 sheet folded once in half creates a compact A5 menu with four usable pages: front cover, two inside pages and back cover. The format is easy to hold and allows dishes, drinks, desserts and contact information to be separated into clear sections.

It is suitable for restaurants, cafes, bars, wine venues, hotels and seasonal offers. Full-colour printing, heavier cover-like papers and protective lamination can be selected for the required appearance and durability.

Preparing the fold

Supply the design as outside and inside spreads in the correct page order. Keep text away from the centre fold and include bleed. We will check page orientation, fold position and technical readiness before production.

Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum: 400 MB. For print, use 300 DPI as a guideline. If colour accuracy is critical, order a colour proof.

Artwork submission rules
  • The file dimensions must match the artwork size including bleed. Follow the dimensions shown in the recommendations above.
  • Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum file size: 400 MB.
  • Use 300 DPI for print, 200 DPI for large-format work and 150 DPI for very large products.
  • Use RGB if unsure. Use CMYK only if you understand prepress requirements. Remove embedded ICC profiles.
  • Embed all fonts in PDF files. Save JPEG without compression and TIFF with merged layers using ZIP/LZW.
  • For foil, varnish, contour cutting and other special processes, use vector spot objects with overprint.

      General guidelines+
      • Use the CMYK colour model only when the artwork was prepared with the correct print profile; otherwise submit the file in RGB.
      • Embed all fonts in PDF files or convert text to outlines.
      • Keep important text and logos inside the indicated safe area.
      • Do not place thin frames close to the trim line.
      • The maximum upload size is 400 MB.
      Files and preparation+
      • Check the finished size, bleed and safe area before uploading the artwork.
      • Use high-resolution images and make sure linked graphics are included.
