Foil-stamped brochure printing

A foil-stamped brochure combines an informative folded format with a premium finishing effect. Gold, silver or another selected foil can highlight a logo, company name, headline or decorative element. The metallic accent catches the light, improves brand recognition and gives the printed piece a more refined appearance.

This format is suitable for premium services, product presentations, property offers, invitations, restaurant materials and corporate events. Paper, fold type and foil colour should be selected together so the finished brochure remains practical and visually balanced.

Preparing the artwork

The foil elements must be supplied as a separate vector layer in a solid spot colour. Very fine lines and small details may require adjustment. Upload the print artwork and foil mask when ordering. We will check the files, alignment and minimum detail size before production.

Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum: 400 MB. For print, use 300 DPI as a guideline. If colour accuracy is critical, order a colour proof.

Artwork submission rules
  • The file dimensions must match the artwork size including bleed. Follow the dimensions shown in the recommendations above.
  • Formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF. Maximum file size: 400 MB.
  • Use 300 DPI for print, 200 DPI for large-format work and 150 DPI for very large products.
  • Use RGB if unsure. Use CMYK only if you understand prepress requirements. Remove embedded ICC profiles.
  • Embed all fonts in PDF files. Save JPEG without compression and TIFF with merged layers using ZIP/LZW.
  • For foil, varnish, contour cutting and other special processes, use vector spot objects with overprint.

      General guidelines+
      • Use the CMYK colour model only when the artwork was prepared with the correct print profile; otherwise submit the file in RGB.
      • Embed all fonts in PDF files or convert text to outlines.
      • Keep important text and logos inside the indicated safe area.
      • Do not place thin frames close to the trim line.
      • The maximum upload size is 400 MB.
      Files and preparation+
      • Check the finished size, bleed and safe area before uploading the artwork.
      • Use high-resolution images and make sure linked graphics are included.
